Jakel Company was founded by Joseph &
Frances Jakel in 1945 when they moved West from Milwaukee and started a plumbing and
repair business at 201 Harrison Street in Reeseville, WI. The heating and plumbing
business was eventually phased out as the repair and installation of Feed Mill equipment
became an increasing portion of the business. Incorporated in 1963, Jakel Company,
Inc. is still a family business, and is presently owned and operated by Ronald and Paul
Jakel.
Jakel Co. has always concentrated on growing in order to better serve their clients with the most up-to-date services. Additions to the Jakel facilities were made in 1962, `66, `74, `75, `80 and `83. The manufacturing and repair facilities include buildings at both 201 Harrison Street, as well as 202-206 Harrison Street, in addition to other warehouse and storage facilities in Reeseville, WI.
The Company now manufactures its own line of feed mill equipment, including bulk feed bodies, Shovelveyors, mixers, elevator legs, augers and conveyors.
Additionally, Jakel Company distributes equipment for other manufacturers, including storage bins, dryers, hammermills, shellers and other related equipment. Full CAD design, installation, erection, refurbishing and repair services are also available.
